Saxdor Yachts, the world’s fastest-growing premium boat brand, is a privately owned company headquartered in Helsinki, Finland.
With 150 locations on five continents throughout the dealer network, the company has built a strong global presence.
In September 2025, Saxdor carried out the world’s first virtual yacht launch at the Cannes Yachting Festival, unveiling the new 460 GTC model digitally.
This launch showed how new yachts can now be explored and even purchased before the physical boat is completed.
The Challenge
How can we reach customers and showcase our products without physical boats?
Saxdor wanted customers to experience their boats even when no physical demo was available.
Operating across a global markets meant it was unrealistic to have every model physically available in each location, limiting how their dealer network could present upcoming models, and slowing down decision-making.
Saxdor also sought new ways to engage customers beyond traditional showrooms and events.

The solution allows the dealer network to present every model digitally, even before production is complete.
It creates an engaging and accurate experience that supports both sales teams and customers throughout the buying process.
Results
A Digital Step Toward Industry Leadership
Marketing and sales were the natural starting points for digital twin implementation, and at Saxdor the photorealistic virtual boats are now beginning to extend toward R&D and design.
Saxdor is also planning flagship virtual showrooms and expanding the experience to other touchpoints such as VR headsets. From the virtual launch at Cannes to the creation of a full digital ecosystem, Saxdor is charting its course toward becoming the yachting industry’s true technology leader.

We have 150 locations on five continents through our dealer network. It is unrealistic to expect that you could have a demo boat of each model in each location. So when the client wants to experience the boat prior to purchasing, Virtual Showroom enables them to do so.
